Forty years of Saturday afternoons. Forty years of pulling on emerald and tangerine, driving to a pitch in the rain and losing a game we absolutely should have won.
In 1986 a group of mates decided South East London needed another football club. Nobody involved expected it to still be going four decades later. It is. Same colours, same nickname, same Saturday afternoon in the Black Horse arguing about a penalty decision.
On Saturday 19 June 2027 we’re getting everyone back in one room to mark it properly. Players from every era, from the ones who were there at the start to the lads who signed this season. Three courses, a bar and a lot of stories that have improved considerably in the retelling.

Formal. Lounge suits. Club ties if you’ve got one, so have a dig around.
🍴 Food
Three courses, set menu. Food must be pre-ordered, so we’ll be in touch a few weeks out with the menu and to take your choices and any dietary requirements.
Tickets
🎟️ £50 per person
That covers your three course dinner and the evening. Bring a partner, bring your old centre half, bring both.
You can buy up to ten tickets in one go, so if you’re rounding up a few from your era, one of you can sort the lot and settle up between yourselves later.

Dig out your old photos
We’re putting together a programme for the night and we want your stuff. Old photos, match reports, Braves Bulletin clippings, anything that’s been sitting in a loft since the nineties.
It doesn’t matter how bad the quality is. Half the fun is working out who’s who.
